1. HERE’S HOW TO ENTER: Beginning 12:01 a.m. Eastern Time (ET) on 8/4/08, residents of the 50 United States or the District of Columbia may visit www.mrclean.com and residents of Canada may visit www.mrclean.ca and follow the on-screen entry instructions to enter. Entries must be received by 11:59:59 p.m. ET on each day during the promotion period to be eligible for that day’s prize drawing. Entries must be received by 11:59:59 p.m. ET on 10/5/08 to enter the final daily prize drawing and to be eligible for the Grand and First Prize drawing. Non-winning entries will not be rolled over into subsequent daily drawings. Limit one entry per e-mail address per day. If more than one entry is received per person per day, only the first such entry received will be eligible.
2. ELIGIBILITY: This promotion is open only to residents of the 50 United States or the District of Columbia who are 18 years or older at time of entry and residents of Canada who are the legal age of majority in the province or territory in which they reside at time of entry. Employees of Procter & Gamble, their affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising, promotion and internet agencies and their immediate family members and/or those living in the same household of each are not eligible. All federal, state, municipal, provincial local laws and regulations apply. Void where prohibited by law.
3. RANDOM DRAWINGS: Random drawings to award 3 daily prizes per day will be conducted from among all eligible entries received for that day’s drawing. Daily drawings will be conducted approximately 7 days after each day of the promotion period. The random drawing to award the Grand and First Prizes will be conducted on or about 10/27/08 from among all eligible entries received by 11:59:59 p.m. ET on 10/5/08. Drawings will be conducted by D.L. Blair, Inc., an independent judging organization whose decisions are final on all matters relating to this offer. Odds of winning a daily prize depend upon the number of eligible entries received for that day. Odds of winning the Grand or the First Prize will depend upon the number of eligible entries received by the promotion closing date. Winners will be notified by mail.
4. PRIZES & APPROXIMATE RETAIL VALUES: (191) prizes (189 Daily Prizes, 1 Grand Prize and 1 First Prize) with a total approximate retail value of $4,565.11 U.S. Dollars (USD) will be awarded as follows: (189) Daily Prizes (3 per day): A 25 count box of Mr. Clean® Disinfecting Wipes with Febreze® Freshness (ARV: $2.99 USD per prize); (1) Grand Prize: $3,000 USD (awarded in the form of a check) toward new appliances and a professional top-to-bottom clean for your house; (1) First Prize: $1,000 USD (awarded in the form of a check) toward a new home appliance of your choice. Prizes consist of only those items specifically listed as part of the prize. All prizes valued in U.S. Dollars. Limit one daily prize per person or household. Limit one Grand or First Prize per person or household.
5. GENERAL RULES: If potential Grand or First Prize winner is a U.S. resident, winner (or parent/legal guardian if potential winner is a minor in his/her state of residence) must sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility, Release of Liability, and where legally permissible, a Publicity Release within 10 days of attempted notification. Noncompliance within this time period or return of any prize/prize notification as undeliverable will result in disqualification and an alternate winner may be selected. In order to be declared a winner, residents of Canada must correctly answer an arithmetical skill-testing question and execute a Declaration and Release Form within 10 days of attempted notification to release Procter & Gamble and its agencies and representatives from liability with respect to contests and prizes. Noncompliance within time period or return of any prize/prize notification as undeliverable will result in disqualification and an alternate may be selected. For Quebec residents, any litigation respecting the conduct or organization of a publicity contest may be submitted to the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux for a ruling. Any litigation respecting the awarding of a prize may be submitted to the Régie only for the purpose of helping the parties reach a settlement. No substitution or transfer of prize by winner permitted. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute prize of equal or greater value. All federal, state and local taxes and/or duties, if applicable, are the sole responsibility of winners. By accepting prize, winners (or parent/legal guardian if winner is a minor) agree to hold Sponsor, its respective directors, officers, employees, assigns, and agencies harmless against any and all claims and liability arising out of use of prize. Winners (or parent/legal guardian if winner is a minor) assume all liability for any injury or damage caused, or claimed to be caused, by participation in this promotion or use or redemption of any prize. Acceptance of prize constitutes permission for the Sponsor and its agencies to use winners’ names and/or likenesses for purposes of advertising and trade without further compensation, including a winners’ list, unless prohibited by law. By participating in this promotion, entrants (or parent/legal guardian if winner is a minor) agree to be bound by the Official Rules and the judges’ decisions which are final. In the event there is a discrepancy or inconsistency between the English and French version of these Official Rules or any promotional materials, the English version shall prevail, govern and control. All material submitted becomes the sole property of Sponsor and will not be returned. Sponsor not responsible for any typographical or other error in the printing of the offer, administration of the promotion or in the announcement of the prizes. In no event will more than the stated number of prizes be awarded.
6. WINNERS: U.S. residents may visit www.mrclean.com and Canadian residents may visit www.mrclean.ca throughout the promotion period to see the daily winners’ names. The Grand and First Prize winners’ names will be available on www.mrclean.com and www.mrclean.ca beginning 12/1/08 through 12/22/08.
