You can learn how to clean a garage door using the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser. Whether you’ve got weather wear, slight scuffs or big buildup, his impressive Magic Eraser will power through dirt and leave your garage door virtually spotless. With just a little bit of borrowed elbow grease from Mr. Clean himself, you’ll have a clean garage door in no time!
PREP: GATHER YOUR SUPPLIES.
Garage doors can go through some serious beatings. Soil can build up over time; scratches and dents can appear out of nowhere; and general wear and tear can leave your garage door looking weathered and old. Mr. Clean doesn’t like dirt ruining anything, even your garage door. There are several types of Magic Erasers, but the best way to clean a garage door is with the It was made for tough tasks just like this one. It’s 50 percent stronger than the Magic Eraser Original, so it lasts longer!
STEP ONE: WATER IS YOUR ALLY.
To initiate the dirt-fighting power of the Magic Eraser, just add water. Be sure to give it a good squeeze before you start. We wouldn’t want any extra water running down your soon-to-be-sparkling clean garage door.
STEP TWO: SWIPE OFF SCUFFS AND DIRT.
After getting the Magic Eraser wet, it’s time to act like Mr. Clean and fight dirty. Swipe your Magic Eraser across tough scuffs and soil buildup. In a few firm swipes, you’ll start to see the dirt flee in fear (a totally normal reaction for messes in Mr. Clean’s way). If it’s an especially large job, try rinsing and wringing out your Magic Eraser as you clean to prevent dirt from being pushed around. That way, you can keep going until the job is done. Now, you can enjoy your newly cleaned garage door and watch the neighbors wonder how you did it.
