How to Remove Hairspray Buildup from Countertops and Vanities

The benefit of hairspray is that it’s sticky. The problem is…it’s sticky. And when it sticks on your countertop or vanity, it’s not so helpful. Thankfully, Mr. Clean® knows how to remove hairspray buildup without interrupting your day – or your ‘do. With his legendary Magic Eraser, you’ll know how to remove hairspray residue in just two simple steps. Removing hairspray buildup is simple with the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser Extra Durable. It’s 50 percent stronger than the Magic Eraser Original, so it’s tougher and lasts longer. With Mr. Clean, you’ll be able to remove hairspray buildup from your countertops or vanity in no time!

Step One: Add water.

Grab your Magic Eraser Extra Durable and get it wet. The water helps activate the micro-scrubbers inside. Make sure to squeeze out any excess water and you’re ready to tackle tough messes!

Step Two: Swipe away!

Firmly holding the Magic Eraser, swipe across the desired surface. In just a few swipes, you should start to see the hairspray buildup lift away like magic! Soon, your countertops will be free of that sticky buildup. Wasn’t that simple? You can even use the Magic Eraser to tackle other tough messes around your home.

Whether you’re trying a new hairstyle, securing your kid’s ballet bun, or simply trying to wrangle loose hairs, Mr. Clean will never leave you in a sticky situation.

Test a small area with light pressure before use. Not recommended for the following surfaces: high gloss, polished, dark, brushed, satin, faux, bare/polished wood, copper, stainless steel appliances, non-stick coating or vehicle body. Do not use with chlorine bleach or other household cleaners. Do not use on skin or other parts of the body. Using on skin will likely cause abrasions. Keep out of reach of toddlers and pets to avoid accidental ingestion.
